About QuorumBook
We build record-keeping software for the smallest governments in America: the townships, boroughs and districts run by a part-time secretary and a few elected neighbors.
There are more than 16,000 townships and nearly 40,000 special districts in the United States (U.S. Census Bureau, 2022 Census of Governments). Most are run by volunteers and one part-time employee who keeps the minutes, the books and the records, often in the evening after a day job.
The software built for city halls is priced for city halls. QuorumBook exists to give a 600-person township the same quality of minutes as a city with a full clerk’s office, for the price of a few hours of overtime a year.
What we believe
- Minutes are a legal record. Accuracy beats speed, and an uncertain detail is flagged rather than guessed.
- The secretary stays in charge. We draft; the secretary reviews; the board approves.
- Public records belong to the public body. They are never used to train AI and can be exported at any time.
- Small budgets deserve straightforward pricing. One flat price, an annual invoice, and no sales calls.
Independence
QuorumBook is an independent company. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any government agency or municipal association.
